Alex graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2020 with a 1st class master’s degree in Motorsport Engineering, where she was involved with the university’s Formula Student team, Oxford Brookes Racing. This included travelling to Germany and Hungary for the summer competitions.

Whilst at university, Alex did a placement at Delphi Technologies in the materials department. Over the duration of the placement, she was involved in the fatigue testing of steel samples with different heat treatment methods, and later analysing the samples for their cause of failure. This was to determine the best combination of metals and heat treatments for their use as diesel injection nozzles.

At Dynisma, Alex is now involved in the demonstrations of the DMG-1 Motorsport driving simulator as well as its ongoing development.
