Head of Systems Engineering and Product Safety

John is a Chartered mechanical engineer with 35 years’ experience of multi-discipline design, systems engineering and safety.

He has extensive experience of new product and complex systems development gained across a broad range of high technology and safety critical projects, from initial requirements capture and concept design through detail design, manufacture, testing and commissioning. John is a keen problem solver with the ability to understand user, technical and legislative requirements, quickly and work effectively with team members and stakeholders to design, develop and substantiate high quality solutions. 

John was initially engaged on the concept design of DMG-1 and DMG-360L motion systems before leading the systems engineering and functional safety scopes of work and developing the Technical File for certification purposes.
