Our cutting-edge approach to simulator design delivers more data about vehicle dynamics and ride to drivers and passengers with less latency and more accurately than any other motion simulators available.

Our CEO Ash Warne started the business in 2017 after leading the simulator programmes at McLaren and Ferrari F1 teams. We have since grown to a team of over 60 engineers, delivering turnkey driving simulators to customers including Ferrari F1 Team as well as a number of other marquee brands.
 

The Role

Dynisma are seeking an experienced and organised Facility Coordinator to create and maintain a pleasant, safe working environment at their Barrow Gurney and Winford sites. The sites comprise a mixture of office, manufacturing and demonstration centre environments.

Reporting to the EA & Office Manager, the Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for the smooth running and day to day maintenance, health & safety and facilities related tasks of both sites, as well as engaging with facilities providers, landlords and other premises stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a proven record in a similar role, ideally with a NEBOSH or IOSH certificate in health and safety, and the ability to work independently with employees and managers at all levels across the business.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and experience in office management and/or facilities coordination
 

Responsibilities

Health and Safety (H&S)

  • Conduct regular H&S assessments, including weekly fire alarm tests, emergency lighting and fire exit checks and periodical fire drills
  • Work with the Operations Manager and the external H&S advisor to complete outstanding H&S audit items
  • Booking and facilitating the annual H&S audit
  • Book annual H&S inspections and implement suggested improvements
  • Ensure compliance with all legal H&S requirements, including keeping accurate and up-to-date records
  • Coordinate first aid, fire safety and equipment training for staff
  • Maintain first aids kits, fire extinguishers, and other safety equipment, ensuring regular checks and replacement as needed.

Facilities Management

  • Oversee facility projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas for improvement or necessary repairs.
  • Maintain all aspects of security systems, including fire and intruder alarms, booking maintenance and annual inspections and remedial work
  • Coordinate building access and security measures, including key fobs, opening and locking up procedure
  • Be the first point of contact for all office and building services including cleaners, maintenance, printers, photocopiers, gas and meter readings
  • Obtain quotes and manage repairs and maintenance of the offices, including air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, waste management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all contractors, ensuring that all work is completed to required standards
  • Co-ordinate compliance visits, inspections and any other ad-hoc services

Office COORDINATION

  • Assist with future office/building expansion office moves, desk setups, and other workspace management tasks as required
  • Supporting EA and Office Manager as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within facilities management, office coordination or administration.
  • Health & Safely certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) is desirable
  • First Aid and Fire Safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and multitask efficiently
  • Attention to details with a focus on maintaining high standards
  • A team player with the ability to work effectively supporting colleagues at all levels within a high-performance team.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with the wider team, visitors, customers, contractors, and suppliers
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Problem-solving skills and pro-active attitude
