About The Team
We are a team of engineers experienced both in the design and manufacture of driving simulators, as well as their use in vehicle development. We develop, deliver, and support outstanding, ground-breaking simulators and motion generators that support the engineering that leads to winning performance on the track.
About The Role
As part of a highly skilled and agile multi-discipline team, you will play an integral role in the design and development of advanced simulator motion and control systems, which will be used by our customers to develop the latest race cars and automotive vehicles.
The successful applicant will be a key input of the build, commissioning, testing and sign-off of each simulator system. You will be direct support for the Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Engineering Lead.
Responsibilities
- Produce technical documentation supporting DMG technical file submission.
- Work closely with the project manager, project lead, and multi-discipline engineering project team to ensure the design, build, commissioning, validation, and verification activities are completed on time to support the project timeline.
- Develop the product verification strategy and ensure agreement with all the stakeholders.
- Conduct product validation testing, including performance measurement analysis, data collection, and report writing, feeding back into the design function as necessary.
- Validate all stakeholder requirements, both internal and external.
Deliverables
- All commissioning, build and safety testing evidence for DMG-1 Systems
- Technical author of all build milestone document, Sub-system acceptance, handovers, and driver safety reports
- Technical author and development of Dynisma commissioning workflows, including optimisation.
- Technical author for test plans and validation plans.
- Technical owner of the punchlist for all DMG-1 systems and stakeholder management for snag resolutions.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum degree qualified in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Motorsport.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in cross-disciplinary compatibility and integration of systems.
- Ability to read, understand and translate; Mechanical part and assembly drawings, electrical and pneumatic schematics and build instructions.
- Microsoft Office Proficient
