Our disruptive Motion Generator technology delivers class-leading performance in latency, bandwidth and fidelity—helping the world’s top automotive and motorsport brands bring vehicles to life in a simulator like never before. With customers including Ferrari F1 and other industry leaders, we’re scaling fast.

We’re now hiring a Lead Simulator Development Engineer—a critical role in the succession plan for our Head of Driving Simulation. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the technical evolution of our simulator platform and play a leading role in a growing, high-performance engineering team.

About the role

We are looking to fill a controls engineering role which will cover the following:

  • Lead the development and deployment of control systems for Dynisma’s Motion Generators and simulator platforms
  • Drive technical direction across simulation architecture, system integration, and control software
  • Build and execute full-system simulations to evaluate performance trade-offs and innovations
  • Integrate and test new features and third-party components, hardware and software, into our simulators
  • Oversee tuning and validation of our simulators, ensuring world-class driver immersion and realism
  • Support trackside test sessions and work closely with customers to optimise simulator performance

About you

  • You’re a technically excellent engineer with leadership potential, looking to step up. You’ll bring:
  • A degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong foundations in control systems, physics, mathematics, and simulation
  • Proficiency with tools such as MATLAB, Simulink and/or Dymola
  • Experience deploying software and controls in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) environments
  • Practical knowledge of vehicle dynamics, motion systems or real-time simulation
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate, influence, and lead projects

Desirable

  • Experience with motorsport or high-performance automotive environments
  • Exposure to functional programming (e.g. MATLAB, Python, R)
  • Previous mentoring, team-leading, or project ownership experience
