Production and Logistics Support

The role

The Production Support is responsible for supporting the Production Controller with production processes and paperwork to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely completion of manufacturing activities that feed into schedules provided by Project Planners. This role involves creating Production paperwork as required. You will support the Production Management process and help drive positive change in the development of Production Process. There is also a Manual element to this role which will require you to carry out stock checks and other activities in line with a production role.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Production BOMS within Business Central 
  • Create Production orders within Business Central
  • Create Pick lists within Business Central and issue to Logistics Department.
  • Support Shortage Strategy by communication to Project Management Team and Procurement to ensure that shortages are understood
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the logistics process.
  • Support maintaining accurate records of Logistics demands, performance metrics
  • Administration activities required for the smooth running of the Production Management department.
  • Stock checking and cycle counting, supporting Logistics activities as required

This role will evolve over time to align with new Business processes and procedures.
