Rich Firmstone joined Dynisma in 2026 as Chief Operating Officer, bringing over 25 years of experience across the automotive and advanced manufacturing sectors. With a proven track record in operational leadership, business transformation and scaling complex engineering operations, he plays a key role in supporting Dynisma's next phase of growth.

As COO, Rich leads Dynisma's Engineering, Operations, Programmes and Supply Chain functions. His focus is on strengthening collaboration, improving operational performance and ensuring the business continues to deliver engineering excellence as it expands its global customer base.

Before joining Dynisma, Rich served as Operations Director at YASA, the Mercedes-Benz-owned electric motor technology specialist. There, he helped transform manufacturing operations, supporting significant increases in production capacity, capability and performance.

Rich also held senior leadership positions at Jaguar Land Rover, where he led Manufacturing Business Excellence activities across its global manufacturing operations. Earlier in his career, he held several senior roles at GKN, including Plant General Manager and Global Project Director, driving improvements in operational efficiency, quality and profitability.
