Dynisma today announces a major new agreement with Dallara, confirming Dynisma as Technical Partner of the Italian motorsport, automotive and advanced engineering specialist, following a multi‑million, multi‑simulator deal for its flagship DMG‑360XY Driver‑in‑the‑Loop motion systems.

The agreement reflects the increasing role of high‑fidelity simulation as primary engineering infrastructure as testing restrictions, cost controls and programme complexity continue to grow across global motorsport.

As part of the partnership, Dallara will deploy two DMG‑360XY simulators across its European and US operations. The first system is scheduled for installation at Dallara’s global headquarters in Varano de’ Melegari, Italy, during Q4 2026, with a second simulator planned for delivery to its Indianapolis facility in Q1 2027.

DMG‑360XY represents the most advanced motion system in Dynisma’s motion generator portfolio and is trusted by leading Formula 1, GT and endurance racing organisations worldwide. The system combines ultra‑low latency (<5 ms) with high‑bandwidth response exceeding 100 Hz, unlimited 360‑degree yaw rotation, and five metres of XY travel, enabling natural, sustained motion cues without the need for washouts or motion re‑centring.

By adopting identical simulator platforms in Italy and the United States, Dallara is establishing a common, high‑fidelity simulation environment across two of its principal engineering hubs. This approach supports consistent correlation, collaborative development and repeatable results across vehicle programmes, driver work and long‑term research activities.

Graeme Cook CEO

Graeme Cook, CEO, Dynisma, said: “Dallara’s engineering philosophy places huge value on understanding vehicle behaviour and driver perception, and we are proud to support that approach as Technical Partner. The DMG‑360XY platform is designed to be trusted as a primary engineering tool, and this multi‑simulator agreement reflects a shared commitment to realism, correlation and long‑term technical excellence.”

Simon Holloway, Commercial Director, Dynisma, said: “This partnership goes beyond the supply of hardware. It represents a long‑term alignment around how simulation supports modern vehicle development, from early concept through to validation and driver integration. We are delighted to be working with Dallara at a group level.”

Andrea Pontremoli, CEO and General Manager, Dallara, said: “High‑fidelity simulation is a strategic asset for our group. Establishing identical, top‑of‑the‑range motion platforms in Italy and the United States supports continuity across our engineering programmes and strengthens confidence in how virtual development informs real‑world performance.”

Stefano de Ponti, CEO, Dallara USA, said: “The planned deployment of a DMG‑360XY system in Indianapolis brings our US engineering environment into alignment with capabilities at our headquarters. This will support a wide range of development, validation and collaborative activities across our programmes.”

Luca Bergianti, Director of Vehicle Dynamics and Performance, Dallara, said: “At Dallara, virtual development is becoming central to how we engineer our vehicles. The vehicle model now acts as the key integrator of all disciplines, allowing us to validate technical choices in a virtual environment before producing physical components.

Advanced simulators embed virtual tools into the engineering process, helping us improve performance, uncover opportunities, and anticipate issues early on. Dallara’s choice of Dynisma as a partner reflects this shared vision, as we push high-fidelity simulation, realism, and development efficiency to the next level.”

Alongside supporting internal development activities, the new simulator platforms will form part of Dallara’s broader engineering and innovation infrastructure, supporting long‑term vehicle development, research activities and selected collaborative programmes.
