Dynisma, the multi-award-winning British engineering company specialising in advanced Driver-in-the-Loop driving simulators, has announced two senior appointments to its executive leadership team, strengthening the business as it enters its next phase of global growth.
The appointments follow a strong financial year for Dynisma, with turnover increasing by 77% to £34.9 million in the year ended December 2025. To support its continued expansion, the company has also opened a new 13,000 sq ft facility, the Dynisma Logistics Centre, at the nearby Brookgate Trading Estate, providing additional manufacturing, build and office space alongside its existing 30,000 sq ft Dynisma Technology Campus and headquarters in Bristol.

Rich Firmstone joins as Chief Operating Officer (COO), leading Dynisma's Engineering, Operations, Programmes and Supply Chain functions. Rich brings over 25 years of experience in automotive and advanced manufacturing, with a strong track record in scaling complex engineering operations, improving performance and driving business transformation.
Prior to joining Dynisma, Rich was Operations Director at YASA, the Mercedes-Benz-owned electric motor technology specialist, where he helped drive significant growth in manufacturing capacity and capability. He previously held senior leadership positions at Jaguar Land Rover and GKN, spanning global manufacturing excellence, operational performance and business transformation.

Richard Tuffill joins as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), responsible for shaping Dynisma's financial strategy and supporting sustainable, long-term growth. A qualified chartered accountant, Richard brings extensive experience leading the finance functions of high-growth engineering, energy and technology businesses.
His previous CFO appointments include Horizon Nuclear Power, advanced nuclear technology developer newcleo, Satellite Applications Catapult, AFC Energy plc and GT Green Technologies.
