Dynisma Ltd.® has signed an agreement to supply its world-leading simulator technology to the Genesis Magma Racing team for development of its new GMR-001 Hypercar.

The France-based racing team will benefit from the unrivalled technical specifications of Dynisma’s DMG-360XY system to develop its high performance GMR-001 Hypercar. The combination of ultra-low latency, high bandwidth, and unlimited yaw capability, with five metre excursion creates the most realistic race car and environment feedback possible.

Genesis Magma Racing will field a two-car entry in WEC (2026) and IMSA (from 2027). Through these entries the team is marking its dedication to endurance racing and will demonstrate innovation under the extreme conditions of motorsport, while maintaining its commitment to luxury and sustainability.

Cyril Abiteboul, President Hyundai Motorsport, said: “For Genesis Magma Racing to be successful in the 2026 WEC season, we need to take every opportunity to gain experience and gather data as we develop the GMR-001 Hypercar in parallel with building the team. Access to the simulator gives Genesis Magma Racing’s engineers and drivers an important head start in developing the GMR-001 Hypercar, putting us in the best possible position when on-track testing begins later this year. The purchase of a Dynisma DMG-360XY gives Genesis Magma Racing’s engineers and drivers an important head start in developing the GMR-001 Hypercar, it shows we want to be serious competitors in the World Endurance Championship and puts us in the best possible position when on-track testing begins later this year.”

André Lotterer, 3x Le Mans Winner & FIA World Endurance Champion, added: “We’ve already started working with Dynisma’s DMG-1 simulator to support the early development of our new GMR001 Hypercar, and the level of realism is really impressive.

I’ve worked with simulators across my career and I’ve always been a bit sceptical, but Dynisma’s simulator is really realistic. Because of the low latency, the feedback is immediate and natural - it feels like driving the real car. You’re not adapting to the simulator, you’re getting a 1:1 response that allows you to focus on true vehicle development and performance.

The correlation to the real world is strong. You can feel the balance of the car, push right up to the limit, and trust the inputs. With the right vehicle model, the hardware gives us exactly what we need. It’s a realistic and reliable tool and it’s already an essential part of our race preparation.”

Ash Warne, Founder & CTO of Dynisma, said: “Dynisma is proud to support Genesis Magma Racing as they enter the demanding world of endurance racing. The FIA WEC is a true test of engineering, strategy, and resilience and our simulator technology, already trusted by teams in Formula 1 and across WEC, is built to deliver the realism and correlation required at the highest level. We're already working closely with the team at our Bristol HQ ahead of their DMG-360XY delivery and we look forward to supporting their performance on and off the track as they take on this exciting new chapter.”

Developed and built by a team of world-class engineers committed to pioneering solutions in motion generation, Dynisma supplies leading motorsport teams, as well as automotive OEMs, around the world. Its simulators are available as turn-key solutions, or customised to exact requirements, offering customers the possibility to integrate any type of chassis, in current production or prototype, for both motorsport and automotive applications.
